Look at me... I'm sailing!!
All right, all right, all right... so my grand plans for a renassaince of posts on
this corner of the interweb fell flat, but I'm working on it... Lots of good posts
on the horizon, but I just have to get on the stick and type the commentaries.
Anyhoo, enough excuses... Lets get to it...

This post dates back to last November when the Good Captain Chapin took
a crew of us out on his boat for a day on the water.

Heath looks stunning as usual.

C-Buck and Liana snagged primo spots at the prow as we headed out of the marina
and into the bay.

Despite the rolling waves, I was still able to confidently pull of a solid Cold-Lampin'
pose...

...and despite being the middle of November, the weather was warm and the
summer fog was gone for the winter.

We sailed out of the Fort Mason marina and into the Bay...

...where Hollander was promoted from Cabin Boy to Captain for a few spins
of the steering wheel.

Cruising past Sausalito's marina we had great views of the distant Mount
Tamalpais.

Scott, Jamie, Vivek, and Liana...

Shon proves she is no slouch by deftly giving me bunny ears while I Cold Lamp'
without spilling my beer.

After making like pirates, we headed into Tiburon and docked at
Sam's Cafe which has a bar and restaurant right on the water.

We lounged on the dock for awhile, sipping beers, and enjoying the view...

...and then headed up to the patio where we had lunch.

After that, there was more maxing...

..and relaxing...

...before we loaded back into the boat...

...and sailed back across the bay to the City (visible here in the distance
underneath the sail.)

Vivek manned the helm with a fierceness...

...while Scott modeled for an Ambercrombie & Fitch ad.

As we headed back home, we bundled up into our warm clothes...

...sailed past the Golden Gate...

...and watched the sun set over the bridge.

It was a perfect end to a great day.

Much love and respect to the Chapins for sailing our sorry carcasses around
the bay.
