A Smorgasbord of Activities

So this entry is a little of this and a little of that... By the way, I wasn't
even close in my first attempt at spelling "smorgasbord." Who would've
believed it is really spelled that way?


One weekend morning during the spring of '05 (geez I'm really behind)
good friend (and fellow Wisconsinite transplant to SF) and I jumped in
the car and headed up to the wine country.



We made a beeline for the Gloria Ferrar champagne caverns to enjoy...



... a nice big, honking bottle of champagne...


... good company...



... beautiful weather...



... and great views.



... sometime after that, I caught a White Sox vs. A's baseball game with
everybody's favorite...



... Ned Mathes! I think the White Sox lost, unfortunately.

At the time I was working in the NICU, and before I left I took some pictures
with my favorites (I got permission from all the parents to take the pictures, so
don't get HIPPAA on me.)

Itzel is one of my all-time favorites...



I seriously considered having her move in with me.



She could do the dishes and clean up around the house...



...and I'd give her free room and board.

She finally got to go home right before I went off service. The nurses
got her a new outfit to go home in. She is a total dude.
