Greg and Kary Come to Town
The Grim Grieper (best bud from undergrad and medschool) and his
wife Kary came out to visit for a little bit last spring.

I took them on my Nosek Tours, Inc. car-tour of the city, and we all
took the classic picture on the Marin headlands facing back over the
bridge and the City.

Get a load of this fuggin' guy...

The whole crew...

We also went down to Monterey and all of us posed with the Lone Cypress
on the 17-mile drive...

... Look Ma!

... it's a tree!

... by the ocean!

We did more than just pose next to Northern California scenic landmarks,
however. We met up with Greg's aunt and uncle and had an afternoon snack
at the Pebble Beach Clubhouse...

... and drank a bottle of wine on the patio overlooking the green of the
fabled...

... 18th hole.

Later in the trip, Greg, Kary, and I headed up to the top of Mt. Tam...

...and took in the views.

A visit to Mt. Tam on a clear day is an unmissable part of any trip to SF.

More views.

We then hopped into the car and made our way up to a blustery Point
Reyes...

...where Kary and Greg braved the elements for this romantical picture.

I threw down some West Coast signage with a vengeance.

We took the short hike out to the lighthouse...

... and walked down (and up) the steps to get a closer look.

The spring wildflowers were starting to bloom, making the cliffs leading
down to the ocean a riot of color.

We even saw a couple of whales making their way south on their annual
migration.

All in all, it was great to have Greg and Kary visit. I feel like I'm missing
a ton of pictures from their visit, so check back periodically as I will post more
once I find them.
