Tommy

So here's the story... I was going to an Oakland A's game with Ned, Phil, and
Andrew Braun and quick ran across the street to Reverie to grab a cup of coffee
for the ride. As I'm waiting in line, a guy in a yellow bike jersey comes up to me
and asks:

"Are you a pediatrics resident?"

"Yes," I say, scrambling to figure out if he is a patient's father or someone I
met at the hospital.

Then he asks, "Do you have a website?"

"Yes," I reply, suddenly feeling the hairs on the back of my neck rise.

"Oh my God! It's you!" he exclaims, "The Cold Lampin' Guy!"

Turns out his name is Tommy and he's an avid fan of the site (and friend of
Adam and Amy Hersh.) We get a picture together with his friend (who was not
nearly excited as we were) and then headed our separate ways to spread the good
news of Cold Lampin'.

There you have it... my first brush with fame. The paparazzi can't be far behind.
Without further ado, here is Tommy, Cold Lampin's #1 Fan...

I'm fired up but must confess a little shame at not cold lamping in the photo - feel like I got to the championship game and forgot my cleats. I know my buddy Hix feels the same.
